Ilya is titled IPO1 and VH2 (VH is Dutch SchutzHund) and was born 02-25-2002 in The Netherlands. She also came from Mr. Janssen, she was to be a part of his breeding program, but if you throw enough money at people they will sell almost anything. My first impression of Ilya when I took her out was "this bitch is crazy!". Talk about intense drives! All she wants to do is work, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Her prey, defense, ball and hunt drives are through the roof! She is a real handful, but she has to be one of the finest female German Shepherds I have seen. Since I obtained her she has been virtually impossible to breed, as she refused to cooperate. So, for fun, I trained & certified her in narcotics detection. She has recently decided to calm down (at almost 8 years old!) enough to breed, and has been bred to Jens. The litter is due on January 28 2010.

Sorry, the pictures are not good quality, they were taken with my Sony Digital 8 video camera which has a still picture option and stores the pictures to a memory stick. I didn't realize how poor the pictures were with that system. I will post more pictures soon.
Shota is a VERY HIGH DRIVE female Dutch Shepherd, born 09-29-2001. She was owned by Mr. van Vemde, an elderly gentleman who had very marginal control over a dog that requires a very strong handler. Because of this, her PH1 score was not good, she lost all available points for the recall and the hold & bark. However, I saw the quality in her and it was easy to see that the problem with her work was not her, it was the handler. She is a VERY good female, very civil yet very social and clear headed, with insane retrieve drive. We have attempted to breed her to our male Eros, but he just can't get the job done. If we find a suitable male we will breed her and offer puppies.
